I loved the hotel - it was friendly and inviting. The coffee and comfortable chairs were very welcoming after a day of sight-seeing. The breakfast was so complete. Nothing was missing. The shower overflowed because I did not see the plug hole cover. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. Joan Clarke

Walking shoes. Do the seafront walk/stroll. Flower market.

There is a lot of road noise and the hotel would improve greatly by installing triple glazing. It would also help if the footways outside were not cleaned at 3.30-4.30 am.

Good restaurant is the La Maison de Marie at 5 Rue Massena, 06000 Nice Tel 04.93.82.15.93. Email lamaisondemarie@wanadoo.fr Another good restaurant with a cheaper menu (16 Euro for three courses) is the La Petite Biche at 9 Rue Alsace-Lorraine, 06000 Nice. Tel 04.93.87.30.70 . The restaurant is located not far from Avenue Jean Medecin and Gare SNCF nice Ville.

The first room was really small and was not really suitable for a couple spending a week there. It would have been more suitable for 2 or 3 day breaks. We were moved to a slightly larger room when requested. They have a beautiful garden with terrace. We enjoyed breakfast here but more could be made of this area in the evening by enlarging the bar and using this area on a warm evening, just to relax over a nice bottle of wine. The bar was not used properly because there was limited stock and because it felt like an intrusion being in the breakfasting area later in the day.

It was truly a great experience. A great little hotel, strongly recommended it to anyone either travelling alone or families. Great location, close to all facilties. Very clean and beautiful room. Being a travel agent I have been to many hotel and this one rates very strongly with the best of them. Many thanks for the experience. Close to all facilities, beach restaurants buses

By french standards , a very nice hotel. Staff warm and friendly and helpful. Nice garden area for breakfast which was of a good variety.Only one English speaking channel on tv... CNN news. But you`re not there for TV !!

Rue massena area ( about 4 blocks away ((10 min walk towards prom)) all the street cafes and restaurants you could wish for. Station. about ten mins north, train ride to Monte Carlo. Morning queues for booking horrendous but book in advance in the afternoon for following days.Tourist road trains regularly from old town end of prom.
