great sea front location but lots of extra charges - 18E each for rooftop sunbed for the day, no bus to the old town as advertised, 12E each for the gym.

If you want a little bit of luxury and don't mind a 15 euro taxi ride into the heart of the town, this is perfect. If I go back to Nice, I will use both this hotel and justonehotel again.
Top Tip
If you want to visit Monaco/Monte Carlo, take the train at under 7 euros per person for the return trip.

This is the original "nearly" hotel! It's nearly close enough to Nice centre to make it walkable, its minibus service almost useful but let down by minimal times. Its facilities are almost sufficient to justify the cost, the experience is nearly enough to warrant a positive review. Facts are, unlike, for example, the sister hotel in Melbourne, Australia, the Nice branch of Radisson is just below par and here are some of the ways in which they are: there are no complimentary tea or coffee facilities in the room nor, unbelievably, a chest of drawers despite the generosity of the room size. There is an easy to use hi-tech safe and a good wardrobe. Regrettably, there's a high charge for the use of the pool, the pool bar and restaurant close too early, the in-room fridge is too small and doesn't quite manage to keep anything cold, the loo-roll is really poor quality and prone to running out, the soaps and shampoos are in ultra messy and impractical pots not dissimilar to the micro pots used sometimes for milk by other businesses. Breakfast, advertised for a 10.30 am close, is being cleared up from about 10.00 with very patchy supplies on many things from that time. There was only one two slice toaster which took an age to function and the coffee was a closely guarded secret requiring real effort to summon. All in all, hugely disappointing especially as my hopes were so high following a 9 day stay in the Melbourne Radisson which was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. On the upside, the double room was very quiet indeed with excellent air conditioning and highly effective black out curtains. Everywhere was very clean and tidy and the decor original and stimulating. I'm sorry to write this as I can see huge efforts have been made to make this a great place to stay and it wouldn't take much to make this a genuinely first rate hotel. Staff on reception were extremely helpful - do make full use of their local knowledge. Don't wait for coffee in the breakfast room - wave, shout, do anything to get their attention and keep doing it!

had a very nice time at the Radisson. Hotel staff very efficient and friendly and the food very good both in the Hotel and in the beach restaurant. The only thing was location which was a bit out of town. Shuttle service provided to the old town by hotel during the day but not at night which meant a taxi anywhere you went as there was not a lot happening in hotel at night but of course o.k. if you wanted a quiet relaxing night.

definitelty go on a trip to Saint Paul, medieval village, absolutely stunning with amazing restaurants. Try and do this at night as very busy during day

We had a great stay. The hotel is out of town along the promenade but that suited us. The rooftop pool is fantastic. The bar is expensive but this is the SOuth of France so that is to be expected.
Top Tip
The seafood restaurant in Nice called Boccacia is great - a real experience.
