The recently renovated Malmaison Hotel is housed in a traditional building, its beige and white façade adorned with shuttered windows, wrought iron balconies and a canopied entrance. Flooded with natural light, thanks to full length windows, the lobby, though narrow, is elegantly appointed with beige ostrich skin and suede armchairs, small black tables and a plasma screen TV. Varying in size from medium to large, the guestrooms feature soothing, neutral décor, which contrasts pleasingly with the rich red carpets, crisp white bed linens and dark wood furnishings. All are clean and well equipped, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel’s cosy lounge with bar is open all day long for drinks and light snacks in a relaxing environment. A generous Continental buffet breakfast is also available every morning and there is a restaurant – La Voci – serving international and regional dishes.
