Using the in room telephone even with a phone card was a pain and they tried to charge us a connection fee.We refused to pay as we had asked before we used and were told no charge.

The main light in my bedroom was not working and rooms were noisy. However, hotel was clean and bedroom was tidy. The bar was not welcoming. Air contiioning was the best thing in the otel, TV channels were limited.
Top Tip
In the summer season drink plenty of water. Prepare to wait whilst being served in most cafes and bars-staff take a long time to serve. Use the very good train network to see other places like Monte Carlo etc

Location will be better when the new tram service starts. There is a tram stop just 20 yards from the hotel.

The locals like you to try speaking French, no matter how bad you are at it.

The hotel is ideally located within easy walking distance of the main train station in Nice, the beach and the old town.
It was clean and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic (croissants, fruit cereal, ham & cheese) but adequate.
